Standard policy
基督教長老會麻坡活水堂 ("we") operates this member app and website for church community life.
DATA WE COLLECT
When you create a member account we collect the information you provide: name, email address, password, and optionally phone number, address, date of birth, member category, and a profile photo. Church administrators may additionally record membership details (member number, baptism date, identity number, and similar records) for the church register. If you submit an offering, we record the amount, offering type, and any payment-proof image you attach. If you check in at a service, your device location is used once, in the foreground only, to confirm you are at church — it is never tracked in the background. If you submit a prayer request, we store the request and the contact details you provide. If you enable notifications, we store a push token for your device.
HOW WE USE IT
Your data is used only to operate church membership features: attendance, offerings and receipts, event registration, facility bookings, duty rosters, announcements, and pastoral care. We do not sell your data, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics services, and we do not share your data with third parties except as required by law.
SECURITY & RETENTION
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely. Offering and donation records are retained for the church's financial record-keeping and legal obligations, in anonymized form after account deletion.
DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your account and personal data at any time, either in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or on the web at /delete-account — no app installation required. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 14-day grace period; signing in again within those 14 days cancels the deletion. Deletion removes your profile, login, prayer requests, check-ins, bookings, and push tokens; donation records are retained in anonymized form as described above.
